Trapani Elettrici
AETHEL manufactures electric drills for DIY ranges, trade programmes and private-label brands. This is the highest-volume category in most tool catalogues, so it is also the one where your cost structure, packaging and accessory kit decide whether the range works on a shelf.
We build to your brand, your colour and your carton, and we will tell you plainly which models fit the price band you are targeting.

What we build on the electric drill line
The AL-ED series covers corded drills for wood, metal and general-purpose drilling, in the chuck sizes and body styles your market buys, supplied with keyless or keyed chucks, variable-speed triggers and forward/reverse as the model requires. Drills are the natural entry item in a power tool programme and the one most often sold as a kit — with a bit set, a case and a set of accessories — so kit configuration is part of the specification rather than an afterthought. Cordless drill drivers in 12V and 21V are also available on our shared battery platform, listed below with the corded machines.
How to specify an electric drill order
Decide the chuck size and the motor power your market expects at your price point, then the trigger type, the chuck type and whether the tool has a speed limiter. Where the drill will be sold as a kit, fix the accessory list now — bit set, case, spare chuck key — because it changes both the packaging dimensions and the landed cost. Confirm voltage and plug standard, cable length, and the packing format: carton, colour box or case.
Private label and packaging
Your logo on the housing, your colour scheme on the body, your rating label, your gift box or colour carton and your language manual. We produce artwork from your files and confirm a physical sample before the run, so the shelf-ready unit matches what you signed off.
Certification and quality control
Drills are built to CE, GS, UL and ETL requirements depending on the destination, with RoHS for European orders. Every run is inspected before shipment — appearance, function, speed control and the electrical safety tests your market enforces — and the inspection records travel with the shipping documents.
MOQ, sampling and lead time
Entry-level drills often start at lower volumes than the heavier tool categories, which makes them a practical first order and a low-risk way to test a new supplier. Add custom colours, new cartons or a bespoke kit and the MOQ rises. Sampling comes first: approve a pre-production unit, then production is scheduled from that date.
The anchor of a full tool programme
Drills pull the rest of the range with them — grinders, impact drills, rotary hammers, blowers and mixers. Taking them from one manufacturer keeps your colour scheme, quality standard and spare-part policy consistent across the whole shelf.

Frequently asked questions
- What is the difference between your electric drills and impact drills?
- An electric drill drives a single chuck for wood, metal and screwdriving. An impact drill adds a hammer action for light masonry. Most retail ranges in export markets stock both, and the split depends on which end user you are selling to.
- What chuck sizes can you supply?
- 10 mm and 13 mm, keyed or keyless, across the power ratings in our range. Tell us the chuck type your market expects and we will match the model rather than substituting something similar.
- Can I mix models to reach the MOQ?
- Yes — on a first order we can combine models within the same product family to reach 500 pcs. Send us the range you want to launch and we will confirm how it splits.
- Do you supply drill bits and accessory sets?
- An accessory set or a kit box can be added to the private-label pack. Standalone accessory programmes are quoted separately, so tell us at quotation stage whether the accessories sit inside the tool pack or are a line of their own.
