Plainas Elétricas
AETHEL builds electric planers for brands, importers and woodworking-focused ranges. Planers are a specialist category: the buyers are carpenters, joiners, door fitters and DIY users taking on doors, frames and timber, and they judge the tool on cut quality, depth control and how the machine feels through a long pass.
Our planer programme is supplied under your brand with the blade set, guide and case configuration your market sells.

What we build on the electric planer line
The AL-EP series covers corded planers in the planing widths and body styles used for door trimming, frame fitting and general timber work, supplied with the blade type and edge guide the market expects. Because planers are judged on the finish they leave, the blade specification matters as much as the motor: confirm whether your market wants reversible tungsten blades, resharpenable HSS blades or a disposable-blade system, and whether the tool ships with a spare blade set, a rebate guide and a case.
How to specify an electric planer order
Fix the planing width first — it decides which jobs the tool can take and what your customers will pay for it. Then set the maximum depth of cut and the rebate depth you intend to claim on the box, and confirm whether the tool needs a variable-speed or soft-start feature, which buyers value on wider planers. Decide the blade system and the accessory list, check the dust extraction arrangement your market expects, then settle voltage and plug standard, cable length and packing format.
Private label and accessory configuration
Your brand goes on the housing, your colour on the body, your rating label and language manual in the box. Planers sell better as a complete package than as a bare tool, so we build the blade set, edge guide and case into the unit at the factory, which also removes the risk of parts being packed inconsistently across shipments.
Certification and quality control
Planers are built to the certification your destination requires across CE, GS, UL and ETL, with RoHS for European programmes. Pre-shipment checks cover appearance, function, blade alignment and cut quality plus the electrical safety tests the market demands, and inspection records can travel with the shipping documents.
MOQ, sampling and lead time
As a specialist category, planers carry higher MOQs than drills and grinders, and custom housings or bespoke blade systems raise them further. Sampling comes first, always: approve a pre-production unit with the blade system you intend to sell, then run the production schedule from that sign-off.
Round out the woodworking range
Planer buyers often take angle grinders, drills and polishers as well. One supplier across the range means one quality standard and one consolidated shipment rather than four vendors to chase.
Send us the planing width, blade system and target price — we will confirm the models and the accessory configuration.
Frequently asked questions
- What planing width and depth can you supply?
- Planers are compared on planing width and rebate depth. Tell us the specification you sell today and we will confirm the matching model and send its full spec sheet for your catalogue.
- Do the planers come with a rebate guide and spare blades?
- A rebate guide, parallel fence and spare-blade set form part of the standard offering on most models. Confirm the accessory list with the quotation so the artwork and the carton contents match.
- What is the MOQ?
- 500 pcs per model, and mixed models within the planer range on a first order.
- Can the blades be replaced by the end user?
- Yes. Blades are a wear part and are designed to be replaced in service. We can ship spare blade sets with the order or as a follow-up spare-parts shipment, depending on how you handle after-sales.
